ハロウィン動画が終わり
ほっと一息ついているタカペンです
Finally done with the Halloween video and taking a bit of a break.
今日は（も？）短めの記事を！
Today's entry is going to be short (as always?)!
お仕事デスクが窓を
向いているのですが
先日お仕事中に
目の端で
何かおっきめのものが
動いたんですね
So my workdesk is facing the window, and the other day, I saw something biggish move out of the corner of my eyes.
いつもはリスさんが
うろちょろしてるのですが
その大きさではなくて
Usually, I see squirrels playing around, but it was something a bit bigger.
で、なんだろ、と
近眼を凝らしたら
かろうじて大きめの鳥さんが
木の枝にとまってるのが
見えたんですね
So I tried to take a look, and me being pretty bat blind without my glasses, I was barely able to make out a biggish bird perched on the tree branch.
で
So
動いたら逃げちゃう！
I figured if I moved, I might scare it away
と思って、そーっとスマホで
写メを撮ろうと四苦八苦したのですが
何せ分厚い窓ガラス越しなのと
結構遠いのと、手がプルプル震えるわ
で全然きちんと撮れません(笑)
So I slowly held up my smartphone to try to take some pics. Unfortunately between the thick window glass and the fact that it was a bit far away, and with my hands trembling, it was nearly impossible to take any decent pics.
でもかろうじて
なんとか形が見える写メが撮れたので
インスタにあげてみました
However, out of the numerous attempts, there was one pic that you can kind of make out, so I uploaded on Instagram.
見えるでしょうか？＾＾；

なんかワシなんだかタカなんだか
鳥に詳しくないタカペンには
わかりませんが
（タカになりたいペンギンのくせにね(笑)
Can't tell if that's an eagle or a hawk or what because I'm not familiar with birds at all (even though my avatar is a penguin!) but
実は動画も録ってみてるんですよ
I actually also tried taking a video of it.
で、近眼では見えなかった事実が
スマホの画面で見えて・・・
With my near sight, I couldn't see, but zoomed on the smartphone screen I could see.
なんか、しきりに動いてるな
とは思ってたんですよ
I mean, I could tell even without the smartphone that it was making some kind of movement.
頭がふいっ、ふいっって
The head would kind of jerk again and again.
で、動画録るために拡大して
So in order to take my video, I zoomed in,
ふふ、鳥さんが見える～♪
And I was like "oh nice, I can actually see the shape of the bird!"
と思ってたんですが
And enjoying it but
なんか
Like
ん？
Um
んんん？
UMMMMM?
鳥さんが頭を動かすたびに
Every time the bird moved its head
ぱっ
*fling*
ぱっ
*fling*
と
Something
何かが散ってるんですよ
Something's getting flung out.
木の枝に八つ当たりでもしてる？
Could it be pecking at the branch its perched on?
うん？
Hmm?
と、みてたら
So I was trying to take a closer look
ぱっ

・・・！！！
!?!?!
あれは・・・！！！
That's not...!!!
何かの毛をむしってないか！？
Aren't they like some bits of furs!?!?
毛だか羽根だかわからないけど
I mean I can't tell if they're bits of furs or feathers but
あれって
Isn't that
足元に
at its foot
なんか小動物だか小鳥がいて
like some kind of a small animal or a bird
その毛だか羽だかを
and its furs or feathers
ばっばっ
*fling fling*
って
it's
むしってないか！？！？！？！
plucking them out so assiduously!?!?
おおおおおおおおおおぅ・・・！！！
OH EM GEEEEEE!!!
野生の鳥よ！！！
Ye, wildlife!!!
食事中だったのか！！！
You're in middle of a meal!!!
と、ちょっぴり戦慄した瞬間でした
And so, that was a moment of a slight shock.
画質が荒いので、動画をあげても
特に何も見えないとは思うのですが
映像の瞬間が瞬間ですので
動画は封印して、
写メだけをあげたタカペンでした
The video was way too blurry so even if I uploaded it, I was sure no one would've been able to really see anything, but you could tell what it was that the bird was doing, so I decided to upload just the pic, and not the video.
