とは言え、今週は
月末月初のお仕事に
追われててそっちはそっちで
忙しいです（笑）
Although, in reality, I'll likely be pretty busy at work since it's both the end of the month and the beginning of the month this week.
さて、そんな中
書きたいことがたくさんあります！
And all the while there's a whole bunch of stuff I want to blog about!

黒金の空模様 / The Sky and Clouds on Black Friday
動画作りに追い込まれると
出不精なタカペンは
ますます外に出なくなるのですが
ちょっと流石にそんなこと
言ってられないくらい
色々となかったので
ブラックフライデーに頑張って
お買い物行ってきました！
Although when I'm nearing my self-appointed deadline for my translyrics cover videos, I tend to not to step out at all, this past weekend, or Black Friday, to be exact, I had to go out and do some grocey shopping. Didn't have anything to eat otherwise. lol
因みにアメリカの買い物事情は
週一に纏めて買い出し、が普通です
タカペンはたまに二週間に一度ですが！
Unlike Japan, where people go grocery shopping practically every day, in the U.S., grocery shopping takes place usually once a week. For me, sometimes once every two weeks! :P
日本の近くにお店がないので
結構な遠出になったりして
不便なんですよね・・・！
Japan is a very convenient country in most places. Grocery stores are within minutes of walking distance, whereas in the U.S., it takes at least 10 minutes of driving to get to the nearest grocery store... If I tried walking there it'll likely take me more than an hour. lol
なのでできたら快晴の日に
お出かけしたいのですが
生憎ちょっぴり曇り模様で
とっても雲がもくもくしてました！
So anyway, usually when I do end up going out, I prefer going out when it's sunny so I can get my vitamin D, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't so great this past Black Friday.

After I took my first pic, I realized that there was a bird on the lamp post, so I took another pic, zooming in on the bird. :)

某日本食品店の駐車場にて

雲から差し込む陽の光って
なんか神秘的ですよね！
6th pic. Light shining through clouds
Dunno why, but I find these rays of lights coming through clouds fascinating. lol
７～８枚目・・・綺麗な青
7th & 8th pics. What beautiful blue sky.
９枚目・・・まぁるい光
雲の丸い隙間からのぞく
日差しもおもしろいな～
と思って録ったら
おや、何かほこりが？
と思うようなヘリコプターが
写り込んでました（笑）
9th pic. Circle of light
There was a circle gap among the clouds and the sun was shining through, which I thought was pretty cool, so I aimed my phone at it. Later, when I was looking through my pics, I was like, wait, what's this grain doing on my screen...? but it's a bit too sharp looking, oh, it's a helicopter! lol
マンハッタン近辺は
ヘリコプターが多いです！
観光とかニュースとか軍とかの
多分
There seem to be a lot of helicopters around Manhattan. I guess for tourists, news, and patrols.
黒金の鳥模様 / Birds on Black Friday
空だけじゃなくて
ハドソン川の方も～
と言うか、鳥さんがたくさんなので
鳥さんも撮ってきました！
Other than pics of the sky, I also took turned my phone downwards, towards the Hudson river where there were lots of birds, and I mean lots.

海鳥？やらカモ？やら
ぷかぷかしながら
餌をあさってます

Sea gulls? and a bunch of ducks bobbing on the water and pecking away at something.
２枚目・・・鳩の群れ
何やら餌をあげてる
おばさんがいて
手に餌を置いて
腕を伸ばして
「ふふ、鳩が腕にのってる♪」
みたいなことしてたので
そのおかげで鳩がわらわらと
2nd pic. A Flock of Pigeons
When I got out of my car, there was a lady feeding the pigeons. She had an arm stretched out, and I guess she must've put some feed on her hand because one or two pigeons went to land on her arm. She looked like she was having fun...
餌、一応あげちゃダメですが（笑）
Although really, you're not supposed to be feeding wildlife. :)
でもこの日、ブラックフライデー
だったのですが、お店の中の
ごった返した感じが
まさにこの鳩の群れのようでした（笑）
It was kind of funny though when I went to look back at my pics. Since it was Black Friday, the stores were packed with people like the pigeons were packing this place. lol

I tried to take a video since they were moving around.
下手ですね・・・
But yeah, I suck at taking videos... lol
何故1羽は見切れてしまっているのか…
Why on earth is one bird mostly cut off...?
まぁでもこんな感じで北米には
カナダグースさんがわんさかいます
ちょっとわんさか風景撮れてないですが
また今度( ´∀｀ )
But yeah. In the U.S. you see a LOT of Canada geese around. Something you don't see in Japan. Once of these days I'd like to try to take a pic of when there're flocks of them on the ground, or when they flying in v-shape in the sky.
4枚目・・・某日本食品店のお店の時間
多分お正月までにもう一度
買い出しに行きたいので
行ったら閉まってた！！ なんて
ことにならないように
メモ用に写メっておきました（笑）
4th pic. Holiday store hours
I'll probably want to go there once more in December, so I took a pic of their sign at the register as a memo so I don't end up going to the store when they're closed! (I've done that a couple of times before... lol)
って今見たら元日は3時までなんですね
間違って夕方にお買い物行かないよう
気を付けないと・・・！
And now that I'm looking more closely, I just noticed that they close at 3pm on New Year's day, and that's a Sunday this year. Better make sure I don't have any need to go out late that day...!
