最近冷え込んできて雪が見れて
嬉しいタカペンです♪
It's finally getting colder like it's actually winter, and the snow, or rather ice, is sticking to the ground and elsewhere!
ギター記事書いてないことに気づいて
慌てて書いてます（笑）
I just realized I have yet to blog about my guitar, so here we go!

つっかえつっかえ弾いてます（笑）
My attempt at playing Tárrega's etude in E minor and part of the "Jeux Interdits", or the "Spanish Romance".
ギターについて / About My Guitar
道端で拾ったヤマハさんのギター、
音は結構好きだったのですが
なんかちょっと大きすぎて
抱え込むと言うより
しがみつく
みたいな感じだったので
小さめのギターの購入を検討してました
I liked the sound of the Yamaha guitar that I found on the street, but it was tad a bit too big for me, so it didn't seem like I was able to hold it too properly. I was more like clinging to it rather than holding it... lol So I'd been contemplating on buying a smaller guitar.
１０月あたり、左肩の調子も大分よくなり
またギター弾くぞ～ってなって
思い切って楽器屋さんに行って買いました
I went to the nearest Guitar Center in October, I think it was, or maybe November. I know I went once just to see, and then second time, to buy the guitar I saw the first time around.

バイオリンだとかろうじて
フルサイズ弾けてるのですが
ギターだと、ちょっぴり
おこちゃまサイズの方が
持ちやすいタカペンです（笑）
I'm pretty much able to play full size on the violin, but with guitars, I guess I'm a bit too small and need a kids' size, maybe. lol
お値段も初心者向けなのに
音色が綺麗で、楽器屋で
一番最初に手にしたギターで
他のも触ってみたりしたのですが
結局この子に決めました♪
What was great was that it was relatively cheap, what you'd expect to get for your first guitar, but the sound, to my untrained ears, sounded very nice. I don't know what expensive guitars are supposed to sound like, but this one sounded so lovely! It was the first one I tried, and I tried other guitars but ended up going with my little Luna!
弦高がちょっと高すぎるみたいで
大分左手の指が痛いし
バレーコードも抑えきれてないので
本当は楽器屋さんに持ってって
弦高の調整をお願いするべきなのですが
ものぐさを発揮してるタカペンです
I think the fretboard is kind of stretched back? and so the strings are a bit too far away from the board. It takes a bit of extra strength to hold down the strings and it's a bit painful tbh, so I believe I need to bring it to Guitar Center and ask them to adjust it somehow, but I'm kind of being lazy and bearing the pain in the meantime. lol
うん、でも保障があるうちに
持ってかないとですね・・・
Although I really do need to bring it in before the warranty expires!
ちなみに他に触ってみた中に
ハワイアンギターみたいのが
あって、音がさざ波のようで
綺麗でしたが、毎回海にちなんだ
曲を弾くわけではないので
こちらはやめました（笑）
btw amongst the other guitars I tried, there was this Hawaiian made guitar or something, that was was small and cheap in price too, and it sounded great. It sounded like the waves of the ocean when played, so I did like it, except I didn't want everything to sound like the ocean when playing all different kinds of music, so it wasn't too much of a competition against the Luna guitar.
でもお金が有り余ってて、アパートに
置く場所があったらこの子も
お迎えしてたと思います♪
But if I had all the money in the world and space in my apartment, I would've probably gotten it, along with my Luna guitar. :)
練習 / Practicing
さて、せっかくおニューのギターを
手に入れたのだから、ちゃんと（？）
練習したい！
And so, having gotten myself a brand new guitar, I wanted to actually practice.
とよくわかりませんが、
初心者
練習曲
で検索したところ
タルレガさんのエチュードが
出てきました
I've no idea how guitar beginners learn to play, so I googled using the following keywords: classic guitar, beginner, etude. Then voila, I came across Tárrega's etude in E minor.
これほんとに初心者向けなの？と
日々思いつつ、音が好きなので
ほぼ毎日弾いてます
のわりにあまり上達しませんが（笑）
Everytime I play it, I have to wonder if the etude really is for beginners because it's darn difficult, but I really like the tune, so I play it almost everyday. Although I don't seem to get better at it too much. lol
最後に / Lastly
まだまだ初心者の域を抜けられない
タカペンですが、これからもちまちまと
練習を続けて、上達したタルレガさんの
エチュードをお披露目できたらと思います！
Even though I started playing back in March of 2023, I had to take lots of breaks inbetween, a few weeks in May going to Japan, and pretty much over three months in summer into fall because of my shoulder, so I can't seem to advance from beginner level, but I plan on practicing bit by bit as long as I can! Hopefully I'll be able to record myself playing Tárrega's etude smoothly one of these days!
もちろん弾き語りも！
And of course, guitar sing alongs as well!
