おもしろみかんを先日みつけて
くすりとしたタカペンです！
This is yours truly, just wanting to share some pictures I took recently as well as another type of orange that I bought the other day which name I thought was kind of funny. lol
今日はそのみかんや、空や鳥の
写真をシェアできたらと思います！
So here we go, another March entry! :)
空の鳥 / Birds in the Sky
見ろ！ 鳥だ！ 飛行機だ！ あれは…！
な～んて古いですかね（笑）
Look! It's a bird! It's a plane! ...it's....!
nvm. :P
そしてそもそも鳥さんたちは
空にじゃなくて地面を
うろうろしてるって言う（笑）
Plus, the birds aren't even in the sky but on the ground. lol
写真を撮ったのは先週か
先々週あたりでしょうか
北上中のカナダグースさんたちが
たむろしていた頃で
もう最近は見ないです（笑）
The pictures were taken a week or two ago when the parking lot of the office building I work at was filled with Canada geese and their droppings. I don't see them much anymore, so I'm assuming they've moved on up north!
そしてちょうどその写真を
撮った日、仕事終わりに
空を見上げたら雲が
鳥みたいなドラゴンみたいな
かっこいい形を作っていたので
ぱしゃりと写真を撮りました
（見えますかね 汗）
But on that day when I got off from work, the clouds were forming what looked like a phoenix or something, so I took a snap. At least, I think it looks like some kind of a bird. Hope you guys can see it too. :)
みねおら・たんじぇろうのうた / Minneola Tanjirogelo
すみません
アニメ１，２話しか観たことないです
tbh I've watched maybe only one or two episodes of Kimetsu. :P
でもさすがに主人公の名前は
よく見かけるので
ミネオラたんじぇろー
って
なんか似てるな～と（笑）
But I do know the name of the main character and I thought the name of the orange I found in the store sounded like an anglicized version of his name or something. lol
さて、このミカンだか
オレンジだかですが
なんかあいのこに見えます
ミカンとアメリカオレンジの
で、ミカンブームだったので
一個だけ買ってみました
But anyway, I've never noticed Minneola Tangelos before and thought it was interesting. It looks like a cross between normal oranges and mandarin oranges. So I gave it a shot and bought myself one.
結構良いお値段でしたので
それ以上はちょっと冒険できず（汗
Why only one? Because it was pricey as heck...! Whew!
でもおうちで実際に包丁を
入れた瞬間じゅわって
果汁が溢れ出して
わわっもったいない！
と思いながら切り分けて
食べてみたのですが
これがおいしいのなんのその！
とてもジューシーで甘くて
程よいすっぱさで…！！
But when it was time to eat it? Wow, it sure was better than any oranges I've eaten! It was super juicy with just the right sweetness and tartness.
じゃあまた買うかと言うと
微妙なところですが
Will I ever buy it again? Maybe, if I ever become a millionaire, but right now? Nah.
安売りしてたら
買うかもしれませんが
ほんと、お値段がちょっと
レジでびっくりした
レベルですので…
I mean, it really was good, so maybe if it's on sale, but really, as good as it was, the price was a bit much... :)
ただ、もしまだ食べたことがなくて
どこかで見かけて、お値段が
悪くないようでしたら
お薦めな一品です
（ミカンに一品は使わないのかな）
But I do recommend the Minneola Tangelo if you ever come across it one day and the price isn't too steep!
3月の空模様 / The March Skies
夏時間始まる前の6時近くのお空 / The Sky @ 6pm Before Daylight Saving
とっても神秘的な紫の夕暮れ
When I got home, maybe a little before 6pm, the sky was such a gorgeous mix of purple and violet that I had to take pictures.
木々やら電線やらが多いですが
ちょっと撮らずにはいられない
空模様でした♪
I couldn't get a clear view unfortunately, so there's a lot of powerlines and tree branches in the pic, but I really just wanted to take pictures for the colors.
そしてその写真を撮った
多分翌週あたり
And after about a week I took those pictures...
夏時間始まってからの5時過ぎのお空 / The Sky After 5pm After Daylight Saving
夏時間が始まったのが
3月11日の土曜日から日曜日に
かけての夜なのですが
The Daylight Saving time began on the night of March 11th.
その翌日月曜日の定時上がりで
お外に出たタカペンを迎えてくれた
青空です
And on the Monday right after, what a bright blue sky was waiting for me after work!
もう青空すぎて！！
夏時間になる前の
逢魔が時なお空と
雰囲気が真逆です(笑)
When I was packing my stuff up, I did hear people from other offices in the building exclaiming how bright it was as they were exiting the building, but at that time I didn't make much of it. The moment I got out, though, I was exclaiming just like they had. lol
What a difference from the mysterious purple evening sky to a clear bright blue sky when getting off from work!
仕事終わりに外が明るいと
もう春なんだなぁと感じます
最近暖かい空の色に反して
最近大分寒かったのですが（笑）
Having light after work is another sign that it's spring and warmer weather is headed our way, even though it's been kind of chilly. lol
さて、今日はこんなところです！

I should be working on my "Step for Joy" translyrics explanation article this week and get up the Japanese version by hopefully early next week!
